4 Ways to Control Your Emotions and Balance Your Life
There used to be times in my life where I would let my emotions run the show.
Let me be the one to tell you that if you don’t get a grasp on your emotions, your emotions will run your life.
I consider myself a pretty easy going person. I get along with most people, that’s just my personality type.
Where my emotions would come into play was in my relationship with my significant other.
There have been certain people in my life who have created such anxiety for me, and periodically I would find my emotions debilitating.
What I didn’t realize at the time was I was operating on auto pilot and old programming.
Also, I was wasting time in relationships that no longer served me.
If you are surrounded by people, it could be your partner, family members or people you work with, remember you get to choose how you will react to the triggers that show up around them.
Next time you get triggered by someone pause for a second and do the following:
1️⃣ take a deep breath.
2️⃣ check in with your body.
3️⃣ tell yourself something positive.
4️⃣ if you need to walk away, then walk away.
Congratulations. The first step is recognizing where your emotions are right when you’re experiencing them. This is where you have an opportunity to start re-programing your mind.
Sometimes we have to re-learn how to deal with situations, and people in our lives. It’s about making small changes every single day that eventually create epic results.
Is there someone in your life who you have a challenging relationship with? They will not change, you have to learn how to change.
My business did not grow and prosper until I got my emotions under control, and I started surrounding myself with people who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself.
Would you like to learn more about how to balance your relationships and your business, so you can put your focus back on yourself and away from other people?
